I got this from Littleblackduck's Journal.

Saturday evening my son was riding his scooter. He called out for help I had my bedroom window open and heard him yelling I knew something was wrong but I couldnt get to him I was in the bathroom. I called for my husband to go get him. Come to find out him had fallen off his scooter and had broken his arm. My husband yelled through the bedroom window to call 911. His arm was just dangling there from his wrist. You can see where it was broken and just the tissue was holding it together. It was freaky looking. He wasnt crying. He just said it hurt. The EMS couldnt get there fast enough two fire trucks had gotten there before the EMS. It seemed the EMS was taking forever. Finally they get there and take our information and look at him. They put his arn in a temporary splint. They had to hurt like h*ll because he let out a one awful scream. I am sure the whole neighborhood heard it.

We get to the hospital. And he is not worried about the pain he is worried about shots and the IV they have to give him. It takes us a good while to calm him down to let them give him an IV. Once that is over with they start pain meds in the IV and he starts to feel somewhat better. Then he is taken down for x-rays. Once he comes back the doctor comes in and says he has to have emergency surgery. He had broken four bones in his arm. They had to put a metal plate and 5 screws to fix his arm. We had to stay over night at the hospital. He got to come home the next day.

I say it's been one heck of a weekend for us.

I just adopted a dog the other day. She is a mix between a sheltie and a welsh corgie. She is a great dog. We have a blast with her. She is a very well behaved dog and everyone that seems to come across her wants to take her home. We got very lucky.

I have been busy with life. To much has been going on right now. I will make time for DA soon!....

I have had bad back pain for about a week now.
Then I wake up to go pee and it burns like hell!...So I make an appt. to go to the doc...

They run a urine test and come to find out I have a Urinary Tract Infection.....

They said if it dosent clear up with the antibiotics I might have a kidney infection....

Then I might have to go on IV antibiotics...
I just hope it clears up with the oral ones...

I dont like IV's!...
